There are lots of opportunities to help out at RC4G! We rely on volunteers to assist with everything from hauling gear and tuning guitars before camp starts to teaching instrument lessons and leading workshops. At Rock Camp it can be loud, chaotic, and sometimes frustrating, but it can also be a very rewarding opportunity to work with girls and young women who are exploring their expressive and creative selves.
RC4G is led by a group of women who are performers, educators and veteran rock counsellors. As a volunteer you would assist the counsellors in one or more of the activities listed in the form below. You may choose to volunteer for several hours during one or more sessions of camp, or for as little as one hour of your time. Take a look at the form to see the kind of tasks we need help with. We'll do our best to match your talents and interests with the needs of the camp.
The information you submit is confidential.
TOO OLD FOR CAMP? BECOME AN RC4G INTERN
Former rock campers who are interested in remaining involved with RC4G are encouraged to apply, using the form below, as a volunteer intern at camp. Put the skills you learned at camp - and elsewhere - to work helping other girls get the most out of the Rock Camp experience. Your time at camp may also count towards your high school community service hours.
RC4G 2011 session dates: Session 1 (ages 10 to 14) Aug. 8 -12 Session 2 (ages 13 to 17) Aug. 15 -19
